The 4 day session has been an eye opener to rethink where I fit in the bigger scheme of things in work. To break a sense of fatigue that has set in at work. Also, is a huge equipper, at a personal level, as an individual professional.
We have started practicing slowly a couple of concepts and have tried our hands at DILO – We initiated workshops with our customer and interview customer's customers (retailers and distributors) and this has given us a lot of insight on the way they work, what are their requirements and how they perceive our product as earlier we were only engaged with our customer i.e. operator only and he was giving us requirements/suggestion. In fact this (interviewing customer's customer) was appreciated by operator also.
The course content was really comprehensive. What was really useful for me was the examples and practical scenarios discussed by the trainer to explain the things.
Trainer was thoroughly entertaining and very well versed with the subject of Product Management. The content was generic enough to get a broader understanding and yet specific enough to be retro-fit into my day-to-day work. Exercises were a big learning and immense fun!
